Doug Feith-In Denial

Doug Feith

I just watched on my Tivo the Doug Feith interview on 60 Minutes. Tommy Franks called him “the dumbest man on the planet”, but that was generous. Here is a man who refuses to take any responsibility for the tragic deaths of 4000 of our men and women, the maiming of 20,000 more soldiers and the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. In a better world he would be serving as an orderly in a Baghdad hospital for $10 a day instead of holding a professorship at Georgetown University.

    I agree with you completely!

I posted a comment over on TPM Cafe. You are old enough to remember the hearings!! It is completely scary! These people are complete idiots! And I’m being kind to them! Feith is high on the list, and there are others as well. I think the World Bank had a nasty experience with one not long ago…

There is absolutely no sense of personal responsibility, only entitlement.

There are a whole lot of people who should be working as orderlies in a Baghdad hospital, or better yet, riding on patrols of the most dangerous Baghdad neighborhoods, instead of enjoying their highly-paid sinecures.

“So what?” is their collective response to such an idea.

Do you think he really believes there was an International Terrorist Network? Do you think he just forgot to call it ITN? This guy is dumb the same way Bush is smart. Somehow it is always a shrug and a smile away from the truth for these guys.
